its been on ramp only thing that was bent was the front lower sub frame

heres how it started. driving along as u do put brakes on and my coupe locked up next min she bit shot me stright in to a road island. car took off only on one wheel then. pulled over front lower sub frame bent back 30/40 mm so me and my mate got to his work (audi) and changed it. :D now i have noti...

starter moter seams fine

fly wheel sensor has been deconnected and works better but she still wont fire any ideas

i have a new battery tried it nothing so that one went flat. now on charge.....
since the speedo thing has been replaced it seams more life like

well she seams like she wants to start but wont. i have checked the g/b earth its fine.spark plugs have a very crap ark to them when we tested them

right had to fit new clutch the other day so done that.. went to start her up when finished,nothing but a click its got fuel put new speedo bit in after i broke old one. any one got some ideas plus the spark plugs dont seam to be putting out much power

right the car sort of starts but it just dies again even when foot is planted to the floor to give it fuel

well their is fuel to the engine bay, it sounds like its gonna turn over but it just wont, this was 11o clock last nite in the rain apart from that it was dropin to about 300 revs when i diped the clutch

i was driving my mate home last nite went to pass the car in front put my foot down but their was no power, droped a gear still no power any one got any ideas
this was in my 1.6twincam coupe

merrrrrrrrr also a friend of mine has a k series rover coupe and some1 he no shas done a type r conversion as in the year 2000 model also it is possible to fit a 2.2 ltr honda intregra engine in

so really that should go stright in with the harness but i have been told that you wont have to change the harness

i just heard that the type r will slot in with no problems
so people common problems with the k series

my cams are on the other side for a start

nothing like that
plus i hear that the 1.6 type r lump will slot in with no change to wireing harness just lump box and ecu

how can i tell if i have the 1.6dohc 16 valve lump as people think it is just a 1.6dohc 16valver
