Due to work commitments I'm not in a position to courier them, nor am I aware of a way to get the tyres removed without ending up out of pocket. The price, however, is negotiable.

Looking for £60 ono. Collection only from Peacehaven, East Sussex. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y34/dh...

It's looking more and more like my 25 won't be getting it's engine swap in time for this so it'll just have the standard 1.6 lump in :(

Not good. Banjo string is quite a common one. I managed to to zip a good 2" of skin in my fly when a certain young lady's parents came home early whilst we were...."making use of the dining room table!" Unfortunately, I passed out almost immediately with the pain and was rushed to hos...

Re: K-Series 1.8T potential?

I'd be happy with 200bhp. I know you can pretty much get this straight out the box with a T-series but prefer the idea of the K-series due to weight difference of the two engines. The cost of the VAG conversion and my lack of fabricating experience tends to put me off going down this route. I've had...

The 1.8K turbo would be a bucket load easier to fit...
And a damn sight cheaper to begin with. Reyland conversion weighs in at £6300 according to their website.

K-Series 1.8T potential?

I've been toying with engine ideas for my 25. Originally I was gonna go down the route of putting a VVC head on the 1.6 lump currently in it but have my reservations about it. To me the, 25/ZR turbo route has been done to death now and I fancy something a little different. This leaves me with 3 idea...

Ideally a set of the polybushed ZR ones would be nice if the price is right but if not it'll take set of 25 ones.

Re: Hard drive issues

Reading up on it would seem the Dell BIOS is prone to doing this sort of thing when swapping hard drives.

Will def be swapping the cloning software cos of some of the issues that came up on the new drive but the issue seems to be with the BIOS not accepting the original drive as the primary drive.

Re: Hard drive issues

It wasn't a move of contents just a like for like copy so all the original info is still stored on the original drive.

Sorry if I'm being a bit thick Radders, but do you mean format the new drive, re-install Windows and then just copy everything over from the original drive?

Hi peeps, I cloned my hard drive onto a larger one but have had a few issues so wanted to put my original drive back in. All the PC does now is say that it cannot find the primary drive. I've tried various jumper configurations and BIOS settings with no luck but as soon as I put the cloned drive in ...

Re: building a carport and drive

It'd be well worth contacting the local planning office if you wanna do anything in brickwork as this is normally classed as a permanent structure. IIRC anything over a metre high may need permission but don't quote me on that cos I can't remember if that only applies to boundary walls  As for...
