Re: Piercings and work
I guess I've been lucky then,I've got 3 in one ear(one in the middle bit),one in my eyebrow(used to have 2)& a scaffold bar in my other ear. Also used to have my nose pierced.Up until last year,I used to deliver for MFI & never had a problem. The old boss didn't like piercings, but he was semi-...

Re: Well that's f*cked it!
When I had my 214SEi,I took it on a 250 mile round trip to look at the MG Express I've got now.Car behaved faultlessly, could have left me stranded on the side of the M40,miles from home. The next day,I went on a 10 mile round trip to drop my Dad at work, halfway there it decided to throw it's gearbox ...

Find a decent specialist & you should be able to get the Alfa's cambelt done for about 300.00 or less

I don't think there's any need for it really, yeah sure you're bound to always have a bit of rubbing or contact, but blatent hitting someone to get past is not on and totally dangerous. I love watching some of the old skool btcc when the likes of soper and rouse were at the top of the game, REAL ra...

yeah I thought about that, would also help it not rust as its going to be off the road for a while being rebuilt. Only issue I see with that is that (if it was me) I would be more suspicious of a covered car than one thats not... I'll wait and see what happens. They cant take it for 15 days anyway ...

I'd have a look on http://www.metropower.co.uk to get an idea what goes wrong with them, the main things seem to be rust as already mentioned,& head gaskets on the K-Series.
