Re: 03 Rover 45 saloon 2.0TD in metallic Silver - £1000

Well bit of a bump - just had 1 guy here looking for a taxi - he spent 30 minutes going over every inch of the bodywork - pointing out every blemish (tiny tiny - not through the paint scratches) then saying it would need a respray. I pointed out it is 8 years old but he said he expected it to be per...

Re: 03 Rover 45 saloon 2.0TD in metallic Silver - in Northam

umm - unlikely - there are a few round here just like it though - but not diesels.

An update - I have had a new tyre fitted and put the alloy back on - tracking needed doing so I paid for that too.

New car is here so I have 4 now - this has to go!!!

Price drop to £1000ono

Car hit whilst parked - insurance Q's.....

Hiya all, well I'm back in the Rover fold since I'm now in possesion of a nice 45 TD. However, this is ever so slightly OT since it doesn't involve that car - though I hope those of you with experience can offer some advice anyway:) One simple Q to kick off........ With a no-fault claim will my no c...

Before I got the 800 I was running a diesel on waste oil from the local chip shop:) You just filter it then heat it till all the water has evaporated. Only downside is when its cold you have to heat the oil in the 'tank' even when you are not using it since it solidifies a bit! I used a 12V cup warm...

I'm pretty sure at least one of local Police T5's is modded. I saw one accelerate from a standstill right outside our home, chasing a stolen car. OK, so it was external observation and I have no numbers, but it was running an external wastegate (non-recirc) and it was VERY fast, waaay faster than my...

Yeah, and OT, but since you mention em;)

Back when I had my RS2000 I went crazy with the lights, as you did then:) Had 4 driving lamps, big Hella ones, when they were on it seemed a good simulation of daylight!

Aren't all fog lights aimed at the ground though? Should be, but even if they are not, the combination of mains and fogs shining directly at me as you pass over the top of a hill toward me does blind........ on winding country lanes this can be very dangerous. Thats the reason why there is a 55W li...

Went in a P plate 600 today, can say for certain there is a lot more room in my 800, especially the back..... knees were almost touching the back of the drivers seat as i sat in the back, whereas in my 800 even with the drivers seat full back I have over 4 inches of knee clearance..... IMO the front...

A distraction from 'init'!

Just been out to do some timed runs, by way of a cam watching the speedo:) Had the best launch ever, in any car:) Of 3 runs the best showed a 0-30 of 1.8sec with 60 coming up in 7.2sec. Screwed the change to third big style otherwise you could knock at least a second of that........... The other run...

BIG THANKS to Marko Tomcat!!!

My car died yesterday and today Mark met me with the part I needed. Weather turned rather nasty to put it mildly and he did travel considerable distance to meet me.

Thanks Mark:)

My first run-in with a quick car:)

Hiya all, Having done 3000 odd miles since aquiring my car I was a little surprised no boy racers had appeared next to me at the lights, or anywhere really. Yesterday, in the town made of roundabouts I found myself overtaken on entry to a roundabout (impreza), I wasn't canning it by any means but wa...

Hehe, my heli for sale is a piccolo...... Full control, as in motor speed (instead of collective), left/right - forward/back cyclic and left/right yaw. Top speed is probably on the order of 60mph but you can't see it beyond 30M so a bit of a non-issue! A link to a vid of mine, bit of a naff cam so d...
