Re: Custom Made Engine Mounts GROUP BUY **Final Payments**

Mine turned up on Friday. We've fitted the front one which wasn't too difficult. The rear one has been more of a pain given the length of the top bolt but I pretty certain we're in now. We ran out of light before everything was bolted up and ready for a test run. Maybe get a chance at the weekend.

Nordic is a blue/grey. Anthracite is darker than charcoal and has a kind of blue flip in the right light. The bluey silver is Quicksilver which was replaced by platinum on the K-series cars.

For normal road use we run at about 30psi and drop to between 26 and 28 on the track, it made a supriseing amount of difference

We were taking it quite easy as the car was badly setup and felt awful. Also my brother spun twice in the first few laps so we backed off. Remember to drop your tyre pressure and be careful around Gerrards (the excessively long first corner).

Mallory was my first track day, IIRC i was setting 1.20's in a standard turbo coupe as a total novice so you should be getting less than that.

Roversport brakes on the coupe, damn does it stop now and they don't have the soft pedal issue that the MG/Ti setups suffer from.

My girl has driven my road car once and treated it with respect, but i get really edgy when other people drive her. The track car on the other hand, she has thrashed that around Donington a few times. I'm so glad she enjoys cars as much as me and never complains about my driving (or engine rebuilds ...

I've never seen or heard of the blue/cream combo. I would be interested in finding out more details on those cars. I've never seen any verification of cars with combo's outside the three i posted above.
