Re: vote on the EU

So 28 member states, we have 73 mep's from a total of 776 That is just over 10%, so unless we have people that can't argue their way out of a paper bag then that is a fair shout, what representation do you think we deserve? For a notion that didn't even adopt the Euro I'd say that is pretty fierce r...

If we want access to the open market i.e. the EU then we need to keep our borders open to all EU nationals. If you honestly think any of the remaining comments you made are worth comment then you are delusional. All I can say is that Hitler made many similar speeches, but he waited until he was in p...

Re: vote on the EU

The German economy is substantially bigger than ours and can afford to take a hit. Ours being fed by service and manufacturing looks more fragile, especially at a time when our steel industry although 'saved' (but for how long?) is being substantially stripped back and vital areas of production cut ...

Re: Car Cover

I'd be careful, as nothing stops dust being blown up underneath the cover and then slowly scratches into the paint as the wind blows it around.

This will happen with a simple dust sheet or a full on fitted cover (Obviously the fitted cover will be better)

Easily said, I think selling a car that needs body work for £2k is a tough call. But I'd go down the lines suggested remove and sell all mods and sell as standard. You'll get 1500 ish then

I'd guess at a unit not needing a new shaft or wheels. Just new bearing and a rebalance. If you can find a unit in that state Wilky I bet would turn it around posted for a similar if not cheaper price. We all know though once a turbo has seen an active life it can be far more than a new shaft and be...

Re: pulsar T28

Maybe a few years ago when they were common. Try looking for one now, they are rare. Their value for the T16 should be increasing as they are a good bolt on upgrade to around 330 with supporting mods. That is why I mentioned the condition as now realistically they should be more in the region of £35...

Without pics approximate mileage, play in shaft, etc. It's not easy to say. £50-£300? £300 being a fresh reconditioned unit, £50 being an oil filled paperweight

Re: M series 45 degree inlet bracket

I used loctite to secure some stainless studding into the bolt holes. Just use some nylock nuts and they won't go anywhere. Some thread lock on the bolts into the manifold itself would be good though.

If the gaskets included aren't useable (they should be) some decent gasket paper will be suitable.

Probably worth searching out a local machine shop and asking them to either extract or drill out the stud. Quicker and cheaper

1.5k if car is included Serious though bare engine without turbo etc 1000-1200? So you are adding £300 for car shell, turbo, manifolds, exhaust, etc? Seems a bit crazy. To say the least, unless the car shell is an utter dog and more an engine trolley. Surely a better price would be based on a more ...
