Yeah I was a bit stuck as it snapped as I got to work. The AA guy could only find one place that had them in stock so I had to pay the price.. Doesn't include labour as the AA don't charge for that when you are a member..

£24.99 is much more reasonable :)

It is not a common problem m8, I only had that one go. I would suggest it may not have been fitted correctly. The clutch cable was a brand new part, cost me over £50!!

Yeah does look fantastic when it is all polished up :)

Hi Alex m8,

I wish I had known m8....

The clutch cable was replaced by the AA a couple of months back and was still under guarantee, there is a receipt in with the paperwork...

Sorry to hear that fella, but am glad you are enjoying it :)

Anyway, took the car out for a spirited drive earlier. Have now discovered that with the boost above 10psi, I'm getting a misfire at between 4000 and about 5000 rpm. That'll be the cam sensor then I know it is probably stating the obvious but have you checked your distributor cap, rotor arm and HT ...

Read through some of that and it is a very interesting read. Have to admit I have never heard of "ester" type oil before. He seems to recommend 10W-50 for most of the guys on there using 200sx's. Doing a quick google for Silkolene Pro S 10W-50 I found a 5 litre tub going for £33 plus delivery. Alth...

Strange that exact thing happened to me last night on the way back from the cinema. Was approaching a motorway and was giving it some welly on the slip road when there was suddenly no acceleration. Was hoping it was just a hose and limped it home. Got into the garage and found the hose to the thrott...

Almost certainly retrimmed centres I reakon. If you look at the panels on the half leather seats you see they are exactly the same size and stitched in the same places as those leather ones there..

Does look like a nice car, I am sure I saw it advertised on here about 6 months back?

There is a low milage blue N plate on autotrader. Has done 40,000 miles and looks like one of the FDH's.

Not sure if this link will work.

Woa, £1400 is a bit on the expensive side . Have seen a picture of your interior Ace, does look superb. I would not be going for a full retrim but it is obviously going to be very expensive. I also hadn't thought about the stitch holes on the original trim as Ste pointed out, might look a bit messy...

Cost of retrim

Hi all, I am looking into getting a retrim of a set of half leather seats on my new Coupe Turbo (when i finally get to pick it up). I want to replace the standard cloth centre sections front and rear and also get the door cards retrimmed. Does anybody know of any good retrimming places in the south ...

Grant, not sure you have tried this yet but it may well help solve your problem.. There are updated drivers available for your chipset and it is very important that you use them.. The drivers are called Hyperion's, they used to be called 4 in 1's. I have had numerous Via based motherboards and I too...
