It's still my favourite, and since I haven't owned it for many years I cannot be accused of bias :p

Although it doesn't look like that at the moment :(

Epic... Yes I read the whole thing ;)

I particularly liked the bit where he said "Please don't ban me, i just want to show what astras can do" - obvious troll is suddenly obvious ;)

Re: Britain's fastest police car LOTUS

I think to be fair as well, part of the reason they switched to German cars would have been down to the deals the german manufacturers would cut them. I know a while back at least one force was offered E420 (I think) mercs for the same price as the Mondy 220s they bought, but went with the Mondys be...

Re: Find Me a Car

BMWs numbering/naming system is stupid anyway. I don't know what you mean. 23/25/28 are all 2.5, 318iS is a 1.9, the 316 is a 1.8, the normal 318 is either a 1.8 or a 2.0, and the 320 is a 2.2. Or all of that could be different depending on the year. What's even slightly complicated about that? :p

Re: Britain's fastest police car LOTUS

What alex neglects to mention of course, is that it's Sweden not here, and therefore the speeds are in Kph (hence I think they hit a max of around 120mph). Still, the way the lotus just kind of squats at the back and disappears... Possibly the most epic saloon car ever, even now I'd still take one o...

Re: Find Me a Car

I'd second looking at the 5 Series too - there's a lot about for your budget (there wasn't so much on mine ;) ) Just as a slight correction though, Sheafs mate got a 525d, not a 525TDS - the TDS is the older engine and a bit sluggish (though apparently bulletproof) wheras the 525d is the newer 163bh...

Get an old second hand engine from a scrapper?

No Ben, you're doing it wrong. Re: Engines : 2.5 KV6 v T16 Turbo

Thread resurrection, but as previously stated - T16 is better for outright power, but the whole ZS package works so much better. I've had a 220, 420, 620, and 820 Turbo, and none of them have anywhere near the agility of the ZS, and they definately don't inspire confidence in the cars abilities like...

To wade in with my opinion... Seperate area of the site for NSFW, fine. Seperate area of the site for pr0ns, not so fine. Not least you run into other legal issues then and it's a bit of a minefield. So really anything in there should still comply with the existing posting rules as they protect the ...

Oh i agree, I was actually referring to where the OP indicated that they'd had to restrain her (which could mean anything tbh) - I meant that THEY would, theoretically, have to justify their use of force however small if it was called into question. Which would be difficult. But this is making the O...

I think actually the offence has to have been committed, or be in the process of being committed. And even then only for an indictable offence. Only a constable can make an arrest on the suspicion you're about to do something. And bear in mind the onus is on you to prove without doubt that everythin...

Personally, I'd call the police and let them deal with it unless I felt things were getting unnacceptably physical and then I'm afraid I couldn't just stand and watch, hell even if it was my best mate I'd feel obligated to break that up. It is indeed. There's a video if I can find the link as well - it's weird, the 306 they ran over defromed the same way. It does have quite narrow tracks, maybe that's why it broke like that?
