ZT 190's KV6 don't suffer head gasket problems, it was only the Rover 800 KV6 engines that had a problem, the ZT version was reseigned and is very good. VIS valve problems can be fixed more cheaply now, so not £650 if you know where to go. If they fail the car still drives OK, just feels a bit down...

Expect 25-30 max out of the 190 and 40-45 out of the CDTi.

A tuned CDTi is the way to go my friend - 170 BHP, 300lbft and still 44MPG - now that's having your cake and eat it!!!

190's suffer from VIS valve problems and CDT cqan suffer from fuel pump/MAF issues but both are very reliable in general.

My derv would have em now!

The ZT does feel a lot slower than the 600, ask anyone who has changed from on to the other. It's made worse if you were driving a 600ti as the power delivery on the 190 is completely different. They are smooth and quiet and comfortable. A tuned diesel is the best bet - trust me...unless you can afo...

The problem with the ZT V8, and most ZT's is that they don't "feel" that quick even when they are. The cars are so smooth and quiet (without X-Power Exhausts) that they are deceptivley quick. I sometimes think the diesel is very slow (OK, it is off the mark) but then look behind and see th...

I have a ZT CDTi with a remap giving about 160 BHP. It's going to K+N soon as a test bed for their new enclosed Apollo air filter range which should release a few more ponies The remap is giving slightly better MPG, currently getting 45MPG which isn't bad. The ZT uses the BMW M47 engine and not the ...

Just remembered that 14kg was the wheel only, NOT including the tyre.
