i am going to look at a rover 600 diesel this weekend,the car has no recent service history or mots.will a hpi check reveal if the mileage is genuine.

trying to smarten up my 600,to me the handbreak looks very dated so i had this idea of maybe putting leather handbreak from a vitesse into my car.
will this fit and if not does any other leather handbrake fit from another car.

the pixels are going on my clock,i know how to remove the clock from the dash but no sure how to fix it.
after taking it apart it seems a small piece of rubber holds the ribbon to the clock.so maybe it just needs a tighter fit,can anybody help.

i have tried silicone spray but i have better results from the dash shine stuff,it might seem a strange suggestion but it really works.
make sure you clean your runners first.

does anybody know if the front recaros off a vitesse will fit a 600,or can a modifcation be made to make them fit.

after owning 2 600s i am starting to get into the vitesse,i think they look amazing in nightfire red.
do these cars suffer from the same gearbox problems as the ti and were the improvements on the later models.

this guy sell quite a few rover engines,i have seem him selling the rover 620 ( honda engine ) and 618s.

from what i have been told the t series can be economical if driven carefully,my 618 with a honda engine only does 33mpg at the most whether its on a run or not. i think maybe the big steep hill at the end of the road must have something to do with it as the engine will still be cold while climbing ...

i have a 618 so are the ti dials different.
who sells the heater dials,is it the same firm.does anyone have any pics.

there is a firm on ebay selling sets of white dials for Â£6, just wondered if anyone had bought any and if they are any good.

most of the feedback is good but some people seem unhappy with them.

i have a rover 618,knightfire red with lowered suspension,17 inch alloys, rear spoiler front splitter and side skirts.i think it maybe the sw autodesign edition.
i know its only a 618 and a bit slow but i am not bothered because it looks fantastic.

i think i may leave it, i find the ride a little harsh now with the 45,s so 40 is going to be worse.
pleased with the car though,i only bought it a few weeks ago but it has side skirts,splitter and a spoiler so it looks great.
a nice set of alloys will really finish it off.

i have seen some 17 inch alloy wheels for sale near me but i am not sure whether they are suitable for my car,the tyre size is 215/40/17. i know the wheels will fit but not sure about the tyres as my present ones are 215/45/17, is there any difference between the two in ride quality etc. thanks for ...

i had one about 5 years ago and it was a great car,it is a little underpowered as its only 86bhp but its cheap to run.
if you just use it as a runabout make sure you give it a good clearout on the motorway now and again as it does them the world of good.

i have tried to swop the clock and hazard switch on my 618 as i have bought a wood veneer version,i took out the centre console and surrounding bits but i could not remove the clock as there is no slack on the electric wiring to remove the 2 screws that retain it. is there a secret to removing the c...

i need to re code my phillips radio on my 618,the card with code in the handbook will not reset it.is there anywhere i get the code from or is there anyone who has access to that info.

thanks for your help,i have not measured the boot yet but i do know that the distance of the 2 end bolts on a 600 lip spoiler is 44 and a quarter inchs if that is of any help

i paid Â£7500 for my first rover in 1999 a 220d bubble,sold 3 years later for Â£3900.

bought a 214 16v as a second car for Â£3300 in 2003 sold it last november for Â£1500

after i sold the 214 i bought a 618is with 41000 on the clock for Â£1500 and knocking him down from Â£2000

i am after some wheels for my 618is,i fancy some momos 17 inch wheels but i dont really know what offset etc that i need to look for.

does anybody know if the twin pipe exhaust off a 620 (honda engine) will fit a 618,the 618 is low comprssion and the 620 high compression.there is a company on ebay selling these and he says it will but i am not sure.
