Re: Removing tyres off wheels
Were are you from? What size rims, and style? Ive got a few DUB mates who may be interested. Shame to waste them really :) They're very basic 15 inch wheels in scruffy condition Unfortunately I've already taken a chunk out of one with the angle grinder so no going back now!!! Thanks for the advice ...

Removing tyres off wheels
Hi peeps, Got a set of 4 crappy bbs wheels left from a Golf I had. I'm going to weigh them in (Need cash fast for Easter boozing) as apparently I could get 10-15 quid per wheel but need to get the tyres off. Anyway of doing this at home with basic tools?? I've already taken an angle grinder to them ...

Re: Lost keys - I'm an idiot - please help
And a quick update. Been driving around with no door locks and using a screw driver to start the car for about a week now. My brother just called me to say he's found the keys in the glovebox of his car. Must have put them in there for 'safe keeping' whilst I was completely hammered. Oops.

Re: Lost keys - I'm an idiot - please help
I'm still intrigued as to how you can be so certain the keys are lost. I detect there is a story behind this :P I'm sure there's a story mate but I wouldn't know anything about it!! I remember clinging onto several beers at approx 9pm - then all of a sudden it was 9am and I was lying in a bush - ke...

Re: Lost keys - I'm an idiot - please help
Cheers for all the great advice people. Managed to get in the car yesterday by getting a coat hanger down and pulling up the lock on one of the rear doors. Ripped the column apart and luckily no immobilser so hot wiring was straight forward. Gonna get a lock set and matching key from a scrappy but u...

Re: Lost keys - I'm an idiot - please help
A VW breakers is probably your best bet. (replacing the window you may need to break and replacing anything else you break by hot wiring it, or paying someone to come out and open it) is not going to be cheap. Having helped a friend get into their '95 Golf GTi once when they dropped their keys down...

Been away from the scene for quite a while but I'm pretty certain to check if it is the water pump thats gone is you simply run the car with the expansion tank lid off and see if the water is returning to the tank. If its not then the pump has gone. If this had come up a week or so ago, I'd be maki...

Kavos is a good place to go for beach, boozing and loose women, most of my mates have been there and had a good time (bar one who broke her arm iirc). Going there with that kind of budget might be stretching it a bit mind. That budget is for flights and accommodation only. That sort of money seems ...

I am not sure how true that statement is but I can't imagine 30000 fans cheering while events unfolded. More than likely a minority or an misunderstanding of what was actually happening. I really don't think this should descend into rivalry. Rich, the fans that you have encounter are a tiny minorit...

At the end of the day 96 Liverpool fans lost their lives. The majority believe this was due to the incompetence of the police and the marshalling of the fans. Why should the memorial be about Forest fans?? Only a (stupid) minority of pool fans would try to pin the blame on the fact that the forest f...

I know the lines are there because I use the station 5 days a week, 52 days of the year. Like I've said, cars are parked on these double yellows all day everyday and I've not once seen another issued with a ticket. This evidence aswell as the obvious fact that the lines haven't been repainted in yea...

Cheers for everyones input. To be honest I think I'll just pay the fecking thing before it really comes back to bite me on the arse. I've no idea why Maidstone council charge £90.00 rather than the usual 60/70 quid. £90.00 is a total joke. I really wish I had appealed as to be honest as the lines ar...

Out of pocket £360, which i payed after they threatened to visit. Lesson learnt. This what I'm afraid of. I would deffo just pay it if I could but I bought a new ...

Hi Guys, Back on the 6th of January I got a parking ticket for parking on double yellows at my local train station.
