Re: Names for a ginger kitten???
Last ginger cat I had started off as Gingernut, then shortened to Ginge, then ended up as 'Dingy Nuit', and finally just 'Ding'. She didn't care, like most cats she just responded to anyone looking in her direction and saying words while holding the cat food tin.

I think the opposite - the facelift looks very dated to me, whereas the original was so hugely dated when it was released that it hasn't really changed.southside wrote:If you go 75 i'd rather the facelift. I think the early 75's are looking really dated now.

Re: Rover 75 or MG ZT
1.8t is 150bhp but the estate is 2 ton. Tourer doesn't really weight much more than the saloon at 1560kg for the heaviest diesel version. The 1.8t 75's I drove really felt a lot more nippy than they should have done, certainly much livelier than the 2.0 V6 ever did. Would probably be my choice if I...

Re: Rover 75 or MG ZT
sorry but i own a 75 1.8 turbo estate, they do not have good handling, they have soft (like a 4x4) handling. I thought my V6 75 was actually one of the better handling Rovers I had - bit floppy on initial turn in, but not overly soft, just dug in and gripped very well once you got used to it. Incre...

Re: Rover 75 or MG ZT
did they not do a V8 ZT  They did a V8 75 as well. ;) I love the look of the ZT, but found the ride rather harsh compared to my old 75, and the interior just felt so cheap compared to the 75. I'm really not a lover of grey plastic. Stick slightly squishier springs on the ZT and pop the 75 ...

As a bit of a curveball, what about one of the Draper Pro Vortex sets? Lost count now of the amount of times mine has made life infinitely easier purely by having the ability to use a ratchet on long studs and in places with very little clearance. Comes with 3/8 and 1/4 adaptors too, and is pretty s...

Not sure a van qualifies as a sleeper, as you half expect them to be ragged around and driven like a twit even if they're the slowest thing on four wheels. Old Saab 9000 2.3 turbo is always a good one. Preferably old shape, poverty spec in a really bland colour. Maybe even beige. You'll easily...

There's even a choice?
Redundant, bills to pay - Sell the S4, it's an extravagance. Keep the perfectly decent sensible diesel. Or sell both and buy a ratty old diesel runaround for pennies.

Trafficmaster. Mostly useless, and soon to become utterly useless when they turn that part of the system off in June.
At least the Rover one doesn't occasionally shout at you like the one in my C5 does due to me not renewing the subscription.

They were queued like mad at my local station earlier. That road is also shared by the local hospital, and I witnessed an ambulance having to do some rather awkward offroading in order to gain access. Stupid people. :x When I finally got to the counter, having only gone there to buy milk and a few o...
