Last ginger cat I had started off as Gingernut, then shortened to Ginge, then ended up as 'Dingy Nuit', and finally just 'Ding'. She didn't care, like most cats she just responded to anyone looking in her direction and saying words while holding the cat food tin.

I think the opposite - the facelift looks very dated to me, whereas the original was so hugely dated when it was released that it hasn't really changed.
