Top marks for organising the 'water pipe group buy' and being the middle man for EVERYONE that had one.
Great communication all the way through
Nice one

These threads get tiring. :'( was thinking the same. Get a grip lads if no one posted, the site would be dead. at least my post was relevant to the thread nontheless, despite everyone elses musings. :P Are we starting the "how many quotes can you get on a screen" game again?? :P Oh, about...

As above. Don't not put a fuse in because others haven't either. Read a few threads and make up your own mind.
We may joke about it but it's actually quite a serious issue if you screw it up. You need to be very aware of what will happen if you do a bad install.

Have a flick through these. There are more available if you search deeper through the 'Electrical/Electronics/ICE' section, but I figured this would be enough to keep you going for a while. The first link even covers the dreaded 'To fuse, or not to fuse?' debate  :P And as Mr Moss has correctl...

It really is just about the simplest thing you can do. The most difficult part is routing the cable so that it doesn't chafe. Nah, the most difficult part is deciding weather to use a fuse or not :P ....... Here we go.... To fuse or not to fuse? That is the question. why is a fuse needed add...

I spose for heads etc the gasket can take out the very small imperfections. Still seems a bit dated though. But if it works and does a good enough job then fair enough, why change it

Is there nothing a bit more modern that can be used?? Surely that's only as good as the persons eye that's checking it?
Nothing laser based?? Or is that a bit OTT ??

At last!!! Old school people who remember what they sound like!! I was trying to tell people on here a few months ago what an RST sounded like with a 4ins scorpion running a bit of boost, and there was no one that had ever heard one  One of the best sounding cars I've heard. At idle they just ...

Have you tried Guru3D ?? They have some good stuff on there.
Failing that, I know it's a bit extreme, but when was it built? Have you thought about a rebuild? Nice clean install. Vista doesn't take long either

Reminds me of the Power Engineering 'System 2ltr' conversion. There wasn't much about that could match that. Many a high powered Cosworth was embarassed by my friends one
Awesome

Sorry to hijack but I have particular problems on Vista Home Premium x32 using GeForce 7600GT (PCiEx16) - any tips? Also the X-Fi Xtreme struggles like hell to deal with certain things but I'm reckoning some of this is linked with the graphics card issues as it twitches hard only when there is full...

I took off the VTP after a while. Kept the icons etc, but the sidebar is pretty useless tbh. Even better standalone versions are still not that useful imo. Got 10 copies of Vista here, and can't bring myself to keeping it on until they sort out the drivers properly. Fine on a boggo system, but when...

That was hardlay a fair contest. The Rovers were standard. Look at the engine specs of the RS boys!!!!!! 340bhp, 280bhp no wonder the Rovers didn't stand a chance!!

Mine has a Turbosmart Megasonic on there and it sounds great. Combine that with the chatter of a GT28R and it sounds fantastic. Just by moving the air filter closer to the floor the whole sound of the car has changed! It sounds like NOTHING I've ever heard before! The spool up from the turbo is AWES...

Incase you're wondering there were 3 down pipes that were already fitted to cars but they came up for grabs but needed to be altered first.

As long as it's ok to leave this at Grants discretion with regard to time scale and price I can't see why not. If I had a spare I'd send it to you Grant but I need the car to be running for work. Anyone else?? So lets start the list: Benji Bradharris (depending on price) Berger (TBC) C2K (depending ...

Would have prefered a stainless one tbh. But if no one does them I'll give Rover a call and see how much they are as the one on there at the moment is prob the original one, so a new one from them will defo out last the car anyway.
Cheers
