You get the whole headlight unit the rings are just glued in, have a set on mine and look better in half light than daytime as you can see the resin.

I have only removed mine once so far this year but last summer was great until I went on the motorway forgetting I didn't have the little wind deflector thingies it was supprising how much the car vibrated (I thought the car was falling to bits) .
