Rover 200 1.4i 16v - Great First Car

Here is my Rover 214i. Very fruity little 1.4 engine, as powerful as some 1.6 & 1.8 cars at a healthy 105bhp standard. It is in a lovely pearlescent amaranth (purple) which changes in the light from turquoise to a deep purple. The car is completely standard and has been well loved by myself, the...

I've only gone and bought another Rover!

What is with me and this brand, now Rover number 3. First of all the 211i Bubble, then the 216k Coupe (for sale still) and last night I picked a tidy 214 Si 16v Bubble from the auction. Slight rust which is easily fixed and a new wheel bearing only. Surprising how nippy these little 1.4's are plus i...

I personally have a T/reg and anything above an S/reg is a rareity... good luck.

you can always get the 25 1.1i or the 200 1.1i like I had for my first car. It is only a group 3 plus you have all the mod cons of powersteering that some older pugs & renaults do not have to offer.

Rant: Neighbours + Fence Paint!

Came out to my car to clean it this evening to find that the whole front end of the Coupe was covered in dots of fence paint! After some graft I got some off but it wasn't worth my time. I go round there and say about it and luckily they said they would pay the valeting bills plus a full inside vale...

I owned one of these for a year and they are a lovely car to drive with all of the extras like PAS and airbags that do not come with your standard saxos and 106's for a fraction of the price.

I fully recommend this just be sure to check for the usual headgasket issues, etc.

seen a 56mm on ebay. will that fit the k series ? is there actually and power gain or is it just smoothness of power delivery I've heard the larger 56mm will make no real difference on these smaller engines, a 52mm alloy TB all the way. I've been meaning to buy one but I'm unsure on what sort of ga...
