Should be good. They've got the money to develop new cars. If only that were true... ford are in serious money problems... lol  How serious are their money problems? They ditched the Jaguar F1 team and Ive heard they have made losses, but its such a large company Im wondering how bad it all is?

The engines being sold by a garage. Ive had a nice quote to fit it so they are going to do the work. Providing its not a conversion. Now, providing there isnt too much messing around to get this engine to fit, then Ill buy it. If its a lot of trouble then I wont. :)

Thats good news, thanks Rob Current engine is fubard. Burns oil and rattles. When it gets hot it burns a lot. Especially noticable when sitting in traffic. It seems like its possibly burning a little coolant too, but not much as the level doesnt seem to be going down. Changed the turbo and its still...

How to tell if a T16turbo engine is a 200/400 or a 600/800?

Hi folks, Without taking the engine apart, is there any way to tell if its a 200/400 engine or a 600/800 engine with the other pistons? Does the engine number indicate anything? This is alledgedly, a brand new engine from Rover, would it still have the 200/400 pistons or are they all the 600/800 pis...

standard is like 11.x psi... its modulated. generally, over time, the boost drops off due to turbo getting old, wastegate getting loose etc. the ECU doesnt run the boost in a controlled manner. Its not regulating or working like an AVCR, it simply provides a set amount of bleed off. It has no feedb...

Looks very corroded/rusted on mine.
