Gareth's (MGTurbo) feedback

Post by Raistlin »

Gareth travelled to my home to do a full valet and a rear arch rust repair on my coupe

Result? :-

You could not see where the rust repair had been carried out

The car eas as clean as a new pin - and if you'd seen the state it was in before he started you'd probably agree with me that the result was little short of a miracle.

The car looked as though it had really been cared for.

Excellent price as well :)

TBH - when it came back form the place that shall remain nameless, it looked like it was straight off the scrap yard.

Exterior was filthy, rust spot developing, dented. Interior looked like it was used to store old engine oil.

Mind you - well ventilated as it had been left out doors in all weathers overnight with the windows open

But then - that is their high standard of customer care for you :x

S, all in all, Gareth performed miracles :)

Go for it.

Then again if you have nothing decent to say and want to cause an arguement about something which was out of my control then don't bother. I'm obviously not hiding from anyone so please do tell your story, if its worthwhile.

Whats the point of these buyer/seller feedback postings if people only post the good stuff.

I think I summed my experience up quite fairly with my previous post

Wow, the dogs danglies of a service from GK. Came over to give me a quote, when he said how much he'd be looking for to respray bumper i had(fibreglass) my jaw hit the floor at how good it was. He took it away that night(about a week ago) and explained that due to xmas goings away and some other work he'd got on, it would probably be the 2nd week of January, well its the 2nd day of January and he delivered it at 5:30pm today. What can i say, the results are stunning as a friend of mine in the trade said this evening "As spray jobs go, thats one of the best ive seen, especially as its fibreglass".

All i can say is bring on the end of the month and more bodymods from GK :D :D :D

Thanks mate

Have to add another big thanks to Gareth for yet more bodywork on my Ti

You really can't see where the leccy aerial hole was now, and he also sorted out the other niggles.

Excellent work at a really good price :)

And I'm not just saying that cos he told me to :P

Gareth I see you sold my M series rods too. Thats yet another thing what you owe me for. Are you going to sell the other new parts of mine you had or return them ?
I had 2 cars with GK for restoration, several thousand pounds were paid for work and both cars were eventually taken back a few months ago in an apalling state after endless failed promises of completion.

I would not recomend GK for repairs of any type, none of the work on my cars was to standard. In fact nothing could or prepared me for the shock of the apalling state they were both in.

My ERA Turbo Mini had to go to a Mini Specialist and have all the work redone, infact its still undergoing a full bare shell rebuild.

My Maestro Turbo was taxed tested and running when he had it, its now a part stripped shell in a laughable state, I have no money to have it put right having invested 2k for the Car and over 4K for the restoration and parts. It now lies in a barn fit for nothing.

I had kept this quiet in the hope of coming to a financial settlement with him, but given the complete lack of any responses from GK or any attempt to contact me , I feel it best everyone knows what a completely untrustworthy individual he is.
