Re: MGJohn - Feedback
No problem dealing with John at all and my last purchase was made over a year ago I am extremely dissatisfied with the short shift gear lever that has now been on my car for less than 1000miles. Failed very quickly at both welds to the extension piece fitted to this gear lever.
I have by no means any problems dealing with MG_John but whoever made this particular short shifter should not be welding (unless this person was having a seriously off day) both top and bottom welds to the extended piece have failed with what is clearly an extremely weak weld. Next to no weld left after "dressing" stage. Ground back with paper thin weld material left to keep things together.
