Rover R8 220/420 2.0 T Series Engine Mounting's

Post by tony-f »

As above, I'm after the engine mounts, not the main rubber ones as ill be using Vibratech ones, mainly after all the brackets & plates etc and lower & upper stabilisers and the bolts would be a bonus but ill buy new where applicable as well as what ever else I can source.

Front Subframe too if anyone has one I already have a rear, also little bits like the throttle cable bracket that bolts to the bulkhead , clutch cable clamp that bolts to the rear alloy mount bracket , all pointless but nice original touches, All for a restoration of a genuine coupe turbo that I've acquired, unfortunately the whole front end is missing, possibly been stripped for a conversion, however I plan to save it over time.

Will add Photo of the diagram so people know what I'm talking about.

Will Pay postage or collect if not to far from myself ( Birmingham )

Cheers

Am I right in thinking, with vibratech mounts you can do away with the stabiliser mounts?

Not going to be using the original rubber one , I just need #6 the gearbox bracket & front subframe

Yeah it states that you dont need them but I had them on a zr t I built along with all the stabilisers and a derv gearbox mount and it was solid and decent to drive
