I think there are the very odd few who try to get a reaction, provoke, play devils advocate.. Call it what you will, but the good advice outweighs the cr@p.. As a user of a few forums I've learnt to separate the wheat from the chaff, as others have said it's the same everywhere in internet land, back in the day rovertech had hundreds online at any one time, things have changed now, with a handful of regulars who are maybe over familiar, may be cabin fever has set in :-D

This forum is not as busy as it was nearly 12 years ago but then what forum is. You have faceache , twitter and all them sort of things where people communicate its no different to MSN thats now gone but go back a few years we all use to be on it. Times change and people's tastes change there is a few that have been here years and are just part of the furniture. For some it may end up being there own legacy in many years to come when we gone this forum may still be online who knows and will be a good laugh to anyone that reads some of the threads. Over the years I have seen many threads that have had me in tears crying with laughter "The Gavin" in my opinion was the funniest thread I have ever seen the one asking if you would date him  .

If John does get any spare time it would be nice to have a hall of fame of some of the funniest threads over the years and those new members will see banter has been around on here since I joined 12 ish years ago its also shocking to look back and see how fast 12 years have gone by.

This forum has also over the years helped a lot of people those people who are now knowledgeable on here I remember a time when they was asking the same newbie questions you see nowadays so they have learnt from here and that gets passed onto the new members and banter along the way is typical RT style and no other forum ive been on has ever had the same atmosphere as this place for laughs ect if it didn't would myself and many others still be about 12 years odd later so its not a bad place

I remember someone asking for ant parts ( clearly a typo for "any" ) .. The first reply was someone had a thorax and a couple of mandibles going, had me in stitches for some reason
