I have owned my Coupe turbo for 7 years in January.
Its on its 3rd engine but still looks as good as the day I bought it.
Unfortunately due to building it bigger and better it has been of the road for 16 months now but due to grace the tarmac very soon... :D

4 year in total as I'd still have the nasp now if I had'nt driven a mate's turbo and been peer pressured into buying one....that I completely love.

Bought in Feb this year. Was quite depressing to add up my recipts for the Ti to find excluding cost of car i have spent over £4300 already on it. It doesnt really feel like i have done much as well to justify it.

Ah well its all fun.

I suppose I bought mine just after I joined RT, which makes it about 7 months ish.

In that time Ive put about 2 - 2.5 K on it taking the mileage to a heady 45000

I like the car and is one of the most fun cars I have bought.

It has a couple of niggles to be sorted out - demister, central locking motor, ciggy lighter but other than that its OK.

I often wish I'd bought a turbo, but couldnt afford a low miler.

Im planning to recify that early next year when my share save in work finishes as I'll be on the look out for a 220 Gsi or Gti turbo as my spare car/ project :D

2 years for mine, (about 15k miles)

And in that time its only failed to start once because of a dodgy dizzy cap. But i wouldn't like to think what ive spent fixing all the other bits!

4 years, 2 months 3 weeks and a day for me. 43,000miles in that time with very little incident. Gearbox, exhaust, tyres and roof (which was poor when I got the car) is, IIRC, all I've had to buy. Other than service items.

Was just thinking this morning that I don't even think a BULB has blown in the time I've had it!

Had a 218 sd turbo for 2 years, but replaced it with a Vitesse Sport about 2 months ago.
My dream car is a Rover SD1 Vitesse, but a 800 Vitesse Sport will do.
