i know its the wrong time of year...


...but i just wondered, what prices you guys paid for your portable/free standing air con units?
particualy interested in the prices of 8000 and 12000 BTU models.

and what other features yours have?

Not a whole lot due to working for the big orange company, and going to the test lab sample sales :)

£50 for a 12000 BTU with remote and LCD display :D

dave you're just cheap! :P


reason im asking is i have a chance of getting some from my work that have gone delete... mainly basic 8000btu models which are just an air con unit and dehumidifier with lcd display and auto temp control for about the £100 mark (which is about £70 off the origional price)

the 12000btu models have the above aswell as a heater and remote control.. they are about £150 at the moment. (origionaly was about £250).

i wouldn't be making any profit from this because that is against my company policy and i'd get in trouble. basically we ordered too many in the summer and now they are delete. they take up too much space at work so my manager wants rid of them.

if anyone thinks this is an ok deal then let me know.... as you may be aware i'm not sure if this is a good price or not.

Chris, it ain't bad old son. They sound like the same ones we were selling this year, so grab one, as they are good!
