Alloy colour choice...

Post by tahiblue »

Ok, im getting my car back soon after getting all of the chrome strips colour coded and the washer-jets in the bonnet smoothed out. The alloys are in dire need of a refurb since the last owner of them prefered to drive into kerbs.

So go white (photoshop)

or keep them silver...

Thanks, I was kind of going for the v. subtle rally slag look. I think i might try some water based white paint on one side to see how it turns out. It will be easily enough washed off again...

Hi Tahiblue

I reakon if you've got the money, both house of kolor and rage offer chrome effect paint which would look outstanding against the dark blue.

But if you're going for white or silver I would definately say silver white never looks right like the gold on subaru's. YUK.

But each to their own.

He he :P

I never really liked black alloys, always looked too much like steelies for me. Although i might have a go at polishing them up 8) .

In all honesty its only a car, its had very little spent on it as i've done most of it myself or waited ages on a part coming up cheap.
