i payed a £1000 for mine and it needs a respray because the previous owner did a really patchy job with a can on all four arches, tobe honest i think i rushed into buying it. it looked good on the day becaues the rain covered up the messy can job and it add full t&t and full service history and after a few weeks all the little problems started to come out, i'm nearly on top of all the problems its just needs tidying up on the out side. i'm in two minds at the moment one is telling me to spend some money on and do it up, and the other is telling to get rid and find another. what shall i do.
i will try and get some pictures up. the car is in good condition with 90,000 on the clock and the interior is in excellent conditon i've already put a new rear caliper and pads, alternator, oh i did put a pipercross air filter on, there is a whole list of bills, mot certs and book full of services stamps. car just needs a little tlc to make it perfect,(i'm a perfectionist) if some one puts in a serious offer, part exchange or swop before, if i do get carried away in doing it up.

Neighbour's car - no idea who or why? She drove it for years until this happened one night in the very early hours.... damaged the Vectra next door too!
Could be failed theft attempt and destruction of forensic evidence .... how often do the Police follow up these things with 'expensive' forensic investigations? Do they ever bother now since the 'bean counters' were sent in some years ago.

Re: rarity
Reading back through some old posts and this is the car you sold me Rich. 19 years old and I remember it costing me twice to insure that what it was worth.
I briefly remember putting a new water pump, cam belt and thermostat cranking the boost up and loosing an almighty amount of compression.
Sold it to a guy in Scarborough. Never saw it again and have never seen one the same colour since.
Very rare

Re: rarity
Wow!
I honestly didn't know that the Coupe was available in Nordic blue. I thought it was only the hatch.
Rare or not, I can't say I'm keen on the colour, it looks very dull.

Re: rarity
Nordic Blue is a pretty rare colour on a coupe, especially a turbo. IIRC it was only available until the facelift, and being a bit of dull colour compared to Tahti Blue, Nightfire red and Polly Blue, I doubt many were specified with it.

Audi B6 S4 Avant
Rover 221 coupe turbo 255.5bhp & 256.1lbs/ft (in the garage)
Rover 214 Mk3 Turbo Conversion (in bits)
Rover 416 GSi (in the garden)
