In the last year T16 have been running away in terms of power output.

We're seeing alot of T16's with near on 300bhp now.

300+ at the hubs in fact.
Can't see a KV6 ever making that.

how would you spoil the handling? they weigh the same.

Maybe putting an LSD in 'spoils' handling as you get more torque steer ? :P

Sometimes i have no idea how people come up with some of the posts they make.

I would prefer the Kv6 just to do something different.

theres no reason for 300bhp at the hubs with a v6 imo....

I have no problem seeing of most cars and there does become a point where its to quick lol...
Althow i have the supercharger i dont feel its in full swing till 5k ish then its really feeling quick but with the charger on low down power has been improved SOOOOOOOO much its much more of a fun car to drive

and after owning both t16 and v6 etc the zs is a dam sight quicker than anything iv ever owned, Also you can beat the v6 growl, specialy with the supercharger whine

id still go for a kv6 ,theres more to life than outright power and they can be made to make high power but just very expensive to do it,im sure rsm said he would have a s.c zs at or over 300 bhp any time soon, unfortunately i dont think kv6 tuning will ever be a massive thing as they dont make em anymore ,at least not in mg's anyhow.

'He' has been banned here for years, in fact that is where all the trouble started, but then you wouldnt know about that, being a customer of his.

T16 has far more tuning capacity left in them :D Waiting to see a 700bhp KV6 ;)

My engine's 3cc's larger than a T16 and its got almost 300bhp standard :) goes to show what a good 2.0 turbo set up is capable of ;)

HAHAHAAHAHAHAHA MGTurbo i think you need to reprase your comments about dave being a rsm customer lol...... OR find out exactly before throwing around comments like that.

Dave breen is a member of x power forum and Has not ever been to r s m, Infact dave has ventured into doing his own zs with cams, manifolds etc and makes good power from it and a decent pod time. So somwhat has disputes with r s m over who knows best......
Althow its usually friendly banter it still happens

I just thought you should know that as i should imagine dave will p1ss his pants with laughter when he reads this

thought that 220 looked familiar ,followed you back from pod once till the speeds got high :D i'm not one for speeding on the motorways normally.
My zs is a hatch but its x power grey.
That was pretty funny about me being a customer of rsm :D ive never even seen the place,me and george have had our moments on the forums  mainly because i sometimes have doubted his claims and im not afraid to ask awkward questions but as far as i know were on speaking terms,i dont purposely fall out with him i just expect honesty.

Could you narrow it down a bit more, a blue 220 turbo coupe could be anyone on here.

Well since most of the KV6 engine head gaskets ended up going on 800s kv6's I wouldnt see anyone fitting anything like a custom turbo unit because I couldnt see the head gasket lasting very long, as for newer MG's it might well be possible!

There is lots of potential in the KV6. Running NASP may i remind you, over 300bhp has been achieved. 10k rev limit in the 2.0k.

Sort the cooling out on the KV6 and it would be ok to turbo it.
TF 160... possibly a 250bhp turbo in the future?!
