don't even think to mention that to the wife.

I justified it by saying it was safer to have the power, especially whilst towing ;)

:) Excellent Idea G. I WILL be around, whenever it is ;)

In addition, GUESS where Rob is dropping his Ti off when he comes to collect the tourer ;)

Wants to be driven the last few miles in luxury (he said)

I had been after one for 6 months or so, but had tried to convince myself to getr a CDTi due to running cost, but as mrs told me,,,you could get run over tomorrow and this is just too good a deal to pass up on.
So it wasn't really a rush decision, it was more a chance to fulfill a dream to own a muscle car, and an underated one at that, and also from the outside, unless you noticed the quad tailipes, you'd never know it wasn't just a luxury version of a bog standard ZT160 etc ;) which means less likely to get nicked, although i've got to get a tracker fitted for insurance anyway ;)

cheers

Always pleased to see someone getting a cracking deal on a cracking car. Far too many pay well over the odds for their motoring.

A ZT260 will be my next serious car purchase. By the way, in the event you are not already aware, with comments like that, your wife is without doubt a woman who's priorities are spot on.

Be interested in your feedback when you've lived with the car for a while....

Well done... Great stuff.

Nah mate, that's the Ford V8 out of the old Mustang in the ZT, RRs have Jaguar's AJV8 engine.

I like both fronts, but wanted as newer car as i could get.

I was just jammy to find one so cheap that was unregistered, SMC have a Pearl Black unregistered 260SE for £22,000 which is identical to what i've just bought for £14,500

You could say I was lucky ;)

2pm wednesday is the time ;)

picing up the TF160 tommorow night, so the mrs will be happy,,,me, i've got to wait another sodding day,,,,,grrrrrr

wasn't sure money would be in for me to get bankers draft before wednesday, but i've got the draft already, so now it's all the more frustrating

it's ok though. i'm on 2 weeks holidays, so i'll get plenty of time to waste a couple of hundred quid on fuel ;)
