i dont get payed till next month, so there you go, and i dnt care what people think about micra`s its a cheap run around... untill the rovers fixed.
i work about 60 miles away, what would you rather do, walk or get public transport, or get a run around !!

In fairness if you need a car quick a Micra isn't a bad buy, as mentioned above Ant will be able to shift it on quick enough when he wants to. Should make most of his £££ back. Saturday is dangerously close to Sunday so I wouldn't blame anyone for their choice under pressure.

Talking of Micras, I saw a 160R the other day. Due to the size and the power I bet it shifts.

a friend of mine had a G plate micra 1.0, had some fun with that car! handled like a jelly tank, and also went like one! But he paid about £50 for it, spent £150 on its MOT and tax when they were due, and sold it for £260 i think...he made a years free motoring anyway!
Shame the same doesn't apply to rusted fiestas really........could have done with making some money on it........

micra's are good cars... will probably outlast any rover on here in terms of engine reliability.

Bloody good cars Micra`s.
OK there a bit Noddy but sooo cheap to run and reliable.
And the room inside is deceptive,Even for me 6ft 2,the driving position is fine.
Although tbh i do feel a bit self conscious in it (my bike has a bigger engine) and it will be up for sale shortly.

Any of you who think he would have been better off buying a 214 need to get real. Rovers are worth fk all and no bugger wants them. Chances are the Micra is a lot less likely to give him any trouble, all things being equal. I say this as a Rover enthusiast. I don't like the Micra, and would feel very embarassed driving it (but that's only cos I care too much about what other people think!). He found transport when he needed it quickly, that's all it is. He'll get his money back on the Micra no bother, maybe even make a profit on it if he's in no rush to sell. You can't give K series engined Rovers away here.

Another vote for the Mircra lol. Yes you could have bought a cheaper Rover., but its a short term car that was needed quickly. I doubt it will miss a beat and he will probably get something back for it when it comes to selling.IrishRover wrote:618ireland wrote:In fairness if you need a car quick a Micra isn't a bad buy, as mentioned above Ant will be able to shift it on quick enough when he wants to.
