2003 mk1 zr 1.4 speedo not working please help

hi there iv got a problem with my 2003 mk1 mg zr 105 1.4 when i bought it it had a speedo problem the revs,temp,fuel all work apart from the speedo iv taken it to an auto electrition and hes changed the ecu and the clocks and the speed sensor on the right wheel (like an abs sensor) but stilll nothing can anybody please help me

Does the speedo do anything at all?

it would be the speed sensor on the left front wheel, normally not the right wheel.. regards ricky

Does it not come out of the back of the gearbox if its got an R65 box in it?

Has it ever worked, may have the wrong clocks/gearbox etc?

check reluctor rings on cv joints

Yup as said the speedo pick up is on the n/s hub not the o/s. Also check the reluctor ring for cracks.

Also as said check they're the correct clocks. Theres different sets for petrol/diesel ABS/None ABS
