Finally got the ti mapped ( picks and graphs to follow !!)

Post by alex123 »

Got the ti mapped finally, it made 235bhp and 275 lb/ft tourque at 16 psi with boost dropping to 12/13psi at high revs,, he then turned the boost upto 18psi and it made 245bhp and 290 lb/ft tourque with boost falling to 13 psi at high revs! As he never had a ramp at his place he was unable to fit the walbro fuel pump, also the spring in the forge actuator isnt strong enough which is why boos is falling to 12/13 psi at high rpm,, so collecting car on tuesday and fitting new pump and new yello spring which is 15-23 psi, so he will be able to get it upto 270bhp no problem, will post all power charts on tuesday :) Spec of the car is t28 hybrid turbo,,, custom downpipe,,,,, gizmo boost controller,,,, induction,,,powerflow exhaust system,,,,,pulsar intercooler,,,, forged pistons,,,,,dta s40 ecu,,,,,660simmens injectors,,,,

Good effort tho how much did it cost? Was it a full set up too or jus a tweak of a base map???

Was a full set up of everythink mate including cold starts ect,, cost £400 mate znd that was injectors fitted, ecu fitted with full loom and fully mapped :D so am very happy with the price tbh, and maby another 60-100 when it goes back for final tweeks

yes defo needs that boost sorting, sounds like it is costing you a lot of ponies.
Good torque tho so that sounds promising if you can get the boost to hold :)

The loss of boost at high revs is costing you. That torque level is indicative of the sort of power you'll make if you can hold the boost. New actuator spring definitely a good idea
