As you know i got canned from my job, finish on friday.

had an interview yesterday, went terrible, couldn't of been worse if i'd tried. All to do with an area i don't do, so why they pushed me to attend ii i'll never know.

but just got back from an interview today with IBM, and went fantasically well. Only bad part is I have to wait until Monday to hear if i got one of the positions

I was hoping to know before TOTB, so i could chill.

Oh well, i'll just be a grounchy sod (more so than usual), and i'll just give verbal to Barney all the way to elvington and back.

keep fingers crossed for me.
I need the job so I can get on with the Ti when my tax money arrives

... so that'll be two grouches going to York this week-end then. Me complaining about the price of clutches & quaiffe diffs and G going on about his job

with my experience of job interviews .. you will get the one that went terrible.

better not....
i don't want the bad interview one.
it's really not my area, specialising in Active Directory and Certificate services.
whereas the other job is decommisioning Backup Exec and Legato and migrating to whole new system with Tivoli. Now that's something i can get my teeth into for the next 18months

you ain't heard how much my clutch is going to cost yet....then you'll sh1t bricks

oh very fcuking funny

i forgot to mention i knew Barney, thought that might hinder my application.

15 people being interviewed. 8-10 positions.

why oh why do i have to wait until Monday to find out.
If I don't get it, i'll be gutted, but it went well, so i'm optimistic at the moment.
5 years ago, i'd of had 10 interviews on the go at once, now i've had two, one of which i wouldn't of applied for.

I'm in similar position, but trying to land my first job straight out of uni

and before insurance renewal :cry:

(16days and counting). I've had three interviews over the last week...all are very good jobs that I would jump at the chance at. In the meantime I get to try and make some stuff for the car with some 'borrowed' materials from uni and a big tin of filler

Heard on the grapevine that India has been on a mssive Tax break type thing which runs out this year, if it's true then prices will go sky high reulting in all the companys that did outsource getting there fingers burnt badly.

Should make things better for us with anyluck

I know how you feel, my employment finishes 1st Oct (just so happens our first child is due end of Oct) due to "Company Restructuring", 2 jobs since I left school (7 years ago) and both I have been made redundant from for the same reason
