Does anyone do these? The only ones i've found so far have 'Elise' engraved on them
Also, after searching some posts on this, i see that there may be an overheating problem. Has anyone come up with a definitive answer to this? (i think the caterhams have an alloy cover as standard)

I've sort of decided against it though, as I'm not sure about the effects of overheating the metal, or whether this only becomes a problem on the higher powered T series engines.
Also, as there are no other chrome / aluminium parts in my engine bay, I think it might look a bit naff anyway.
natan on the www.MG-rover.org forums sells real cxarbon fiber spark plug covers for the K and the T sires i belive ihave the one for the K and it is very good quality realy gose with my viper
I can do you a stainless steel one, you shouldn't have heat problems unless you are ragging the car for long periods, and by ragging I mean 6,000 RPM of more for a couple of minutes.

I am doing a sponsored bike ride in September this year, from Dublin to Cork. I am raising the money for SCOPE.
I would be very grateful if you would considering visiting my JustGivingweb page and sponsoring me.

Painted the cover and fitted the metal bits yesterday
Does anyone know what the metal plate bolted to the cam carrier opposite the dizzy cap does - its the rusty coloured thing in the top picture? Can i take it off and tidy it up safely?
