For styling please keep it subtle. With a car that has such a great basic shape I think bolt on bits should be left in Halfords.

Lower it, put 16s on then do performance then ICE.

I did Viper(induction), Powerflow(exhaust), 52mm throttle body and Superchip Icon race unit.
BIG grin factor, anything more I didn't consider the gains worth the expense.

IMHO of course!!!

VVC----->VANOS----->VARIOCAM----->V8----->Turbos, lots of them.

I agree completely, but 17s over 16s i'd say! :wink:

i was thinking of a front splitter , top window spoiler, and maybe some smooth sideskirts i dont want to wreck the lines its got already.
also i was looking at some lotus exige cams on ebay but not sure if the would be compatible for the block.
perfomance wise i was thinking of f.s.e fuel regulator , ngk leads, eon plugs , and thinking of 50 shot n.o.s.

its quite hard finding anything for the vvc. :(

Dave Andrews, Mike Satur, Emerald ECU's, Superchips, PowerTrain Projects

All do bits for the VVC engine

Roof spoiler is no longer made as an OE part, Motobuild do a fibre glass version.

Oz has got his bumpers etc (one offs) on ebay at the moment.

What sort of power are you looking to reach?

i would like to get a realistic figure of about 180-190 without nos .
they guys at moto-build told me the engine isnt that strong for power upgrades .
but i get annoyed by chavs ripping rovers down as grandad cars although the coupe will blow a lot of them from the lights , it would be nice to destroy their egos a bit more.lol.
