trying to work out if my Alpine 7998R head unit will fit in a mk3 centre console.
the Alpine opens up to about 30% bigger than a Din-E faceplate, so wondering if it won't catch on anything.
anyone ?

can you not alter the tilt of the screen?

yes, but it needs to be able to open fully as i don't want the screen tilting downwards, if anything it needs to tilt upwards to be visible from drivers seat etc.
