Anyone with Rover EPC please help!

I've just picked up some parts for my engine (D16 DOHC) from rover.

Looking through the receipts it seems i have been ripped off.

The valve seals came to £78!!!!!

Can someone please check im right here, as the price in the EPC should be for Inlet (8) and Exhaust (8). £4.97 each set.

Ive been charged £4.97 per seal, im sure this is wrong.

Part Numbers are:

LUB100400
LUB100380

Can someone please check which are the inlet and which the exhaust.

My EPC isn't working at the mo and the receipt dosen't say which seal is which??

This was listed under rover 600 on the 2.3ltr engine
LUB100400 Seal-cylinder head valve stem - inlet - Alternatives £4.29 qty 8

LUB100380 Seal-cylinder head valve stem - exhaust - Alternatives £4.29 qty 8

these part no's are correct, I checked the new numbers

I agree - just checked my '04 EPC.

I'd take them back get them refunded.

I'll phone my local dealer tomorrow if you liek to confirm?

Part numbers are correct for the D16 DOHC, its under the "superssesion exists" section on my EPC.

My EPC dosen't work properly tho, it only brings up direct searches and i can't open the assembly tree. REALLY annoying.

It didn't seem right to me £4 odd for a poxy valve seal!!

Im going back down tomorrow, if someone could confirm for me beforehand that would be great as i'll look a bit of a muppet if i go in there shouting the odds without really knowing!

Well, since they don't sell that many cars anymore i guess they have to RIP PEOPLE OFF !!!!
