ATTENTION ALL ROVER 600 OWNERS!!!!!!!!!!

Post by Warrior »

I have been a member since about January and have noticed alot of 600 owners are joining.

That got me thinking just how many of us are there!!!!!!

So if you owner a 600 would you please post a reply, just to see how many of us there are and why you all decided to buy the 600 or any other information you think would be useful.

Thanks

Out of all the cars i have owned the Ti is still my favourite. It makes so many sense on so many levels its simply rude not to like it. The majority of people who knock it have more than likely never driven one. Yes, they dont look allthat. However they still retain a subtle image which cannot be called ugly.

S plate 621Ti

Really comfortable, civilised car.

Those who think it's Grandad's car learn a quick and usually painful lesson ;)

on my second 620ti now. had a short stint with a 306 diesel, but couldn't cope with the lack of power.

i love the ti for its comfort and speed, great car. love surprising people with its power as well. and i actually love the styling, even if it does have a bit of a daft front end.

'97 ti.... Heard it was a real q-car...think it also looks the most modern out of the 'older' rovers...like the shape, interior, performance, etc...only downside is fuel economy but even that could be worse...

Another Turbo i'm afraid. Wanted a coupe but Mrs didnt like idea of having to fold seats forward to get kiddies in. Thought about 420 Tubby but good ones can be hard to find. So then as i wanted Turbo power and Rover it had to be the 620TI. Prefer the shape of the 620 to the 800 or Vitty.

620Si, I am only 20 and a student so I dont have much money, after buying an Escort and the ferking cylinders ovaling I decided reliability was the key. So found one with 120k miles and for the same price I paid for the Escort.

You just get so much car for your money.

I am doing a sponsored bike ride in September this year, from Dublin to Cork. I am raising the money for SCOPE.

I would be very grateful if you would considering visiting my JustGivingweb page and sponsoring me.

Is that on standard suspension Drew?

Reason I ask is that my Ti seems quite solid at 100mph+ and I'm wondering why :?

warped discs i'll bet. discs have overheated and are now not running true.

that's the most likely scenario.

replacing them will solve the problem.
