Oh right, Ian! Hey! I bet you felt 1000ft tall out-dragging the porsche! No doubt he had a few excuses...

hello
didnt have much look with it the pother sunday when i raced that porsche as i had a throttle postion switch prob , was only reading 0 volts constantly

, but now fixed and does seem to go better , just need to try and find a cold air kit for it , my last one run a 14,001 1/4 mile
and no i'm still on a r65 1400 box

Lol, thats ace, the 1400 box still coping! What induction system is on it at the moment then? I ditched my open pipercross for the original cold airbox, then i stuck an ITG element in there, cut off the cold air intake elbow and put a better cold air feed in coming up from the bumper. I heatwrapped the fannymold too to keep temps down a tad. Ideally i'd like an enclosed cone but i just can't afford one!

....thats a hell of a lot of damage.....reminds me of when i went from fifth to second (instead of fourth) when i was learning to drive

....glad that never happened!! Looks like where the liner has no surrounding support is where weaknesses are under extreme circumstances....any idea what rpm was used to do that?
