MG Rover Part issues

Post by 200SEI »

Obviously parts will still be available if Rover closes completely but the dealers will soon dissapear.

So the question is, where do we go to get bits that motor factors can't supply like sensors, hoses and the like?

Are they to start supplying motor factors with this stuff or what?

Those with T series will have to remember that Landrover used them too and can get hold of most parts. Those with some of the K series stuff can try Caterham and those stuck with neither I couldn't say mate.....
If its got T1TS or WHEELS, it WILL give you problems.

CAT have the spares contract, this is unlikely to be affected by the downfall of Rover.

Although CAT will have to now contract the suppliers, not the factory to make the parts.

Also dish out the contracts to the retails, i would hope these will continue to be the current outlets.

But Hartwells Group are indepandant retails for MG/Rover already.
