my old metro vvc done 14.3@98.8mph at santa pod 3yrs ago
that was standard ish with lightened flywheel only.
me and ian(vi turbo no2)
done a vvc metro just for pod to see if we could break into the 13s but got 14.0@100mph after loads of 14.1s and 2s and 3s
both these cars had full interior in aswell so driven like they were meant to be on the road.
must say tho these cars are fun and massivly underrated

143 bhp engine and ecu on both
mine had a 220gti throttle body
sportex exhaust system
full cold air kit routed to front bumper
lightened and balanced flywheel
r65 1.6 gearbox
the other had same as above but a 4-2-1 manifold and that joined at the same place as the cat would normally be
both cars were lowered properly with independant suspension pressures set to around 600psi

I think if you structure your sentences at all, and don't use text speak you'll get more response

Is there any truth in the myth that a pair of vvc exhaust cams would be an improvement in performance when fitted to a solid cammes K?

I know two people who did it, both on 1.4gti's. When they did it the cams didnt cost too much, im pretty sure they said it was worth it for what they cost.

You cant put a VVC inlet cam into a non vvc head, besides you would need the vvc for it to do anything.
iirc the 135 cams wont work in a non eu3 engine.

The VVC inlet cams are in two halves, are they not?!
I'll try and find a couple of VVC exhaust cams then, stick it on the rollers and see what it does.

One thing you will need to do is fit a spigot for the rotor ram providing your engine is running a normal coil setup.
Try dave andrews as he will probably have some and tell you what's what.
