I heard that a fiesta rs turbo got the quickest fwd top speed followed by a fiat coupe.

11.19 bloomin heck thats quick. Cars have to have road tyres too don't they, so that car could be in the 10's with slicks.

Ah appears that it was 11.94 - but he was running 12.9-13.1's all day.

So maybe a faulty reading. Also it was a 125mph terminal - seems a bit slow for a 11.9 run.

It was geared for top speed, which i believe he won.

Also it didnt last the day ??

I am amazed at the Astra - yes it was a bareshell, with a few trick bits - but basically a standard head and block with huge amounts of nitrous pumped in for a 12.6.

It would appear that more should be done to enforce the rules though - lots of non-pump fuel being used
