Raddog?
Interesting, but I don't understand why the photos are being complimented so much. The look like very bad photos to me :?

Yeah, I suppose. I just wish they had taken a few better ones. I understand about the fear of getting caught though.

They are good pictures yes, but I don't really see why it's fun to trespass on property and take pic of a few fecked up Rovers.

Maybe i'm just prudish. :?

'Urban Exploration'? "oo look at me I can explore this train line!!!"

Also ended up doing some "social engineering" today, chatting to a guy who is a Rover employee now employed by the Chinese to remove the whole of the Rover 75 production line. This would explain some of what we saw. They are taking EVERYTHING back to China, there's half a forest worth of wood and a team of joiners just to build boxwork to pack the stuff into. They are even taking the sprinkler systems and walkways! I saw a truck with a huge box leaving the site in addition to the number of containers being loaded...

It would be good if they can get some more detailed pictures. I always find it interesting to find out what building look like on the inside.

You can bet there are places in there that only high up people got to see. Being such an old factory you can bet there are all kind of shelter / safe houses knocking about, not to mention the secret rooms that special talks were held in.

I wouldnt mind having a mouch about, however a bit far away for me lol.

Yeah, it's not too far from Redditch at all though. Would be good for the two raddoggs to meet up!

Perhaps they were thinking of a 'mini-moke' edition city rover :D

AS the city rover was never built at longbridge, these cars were actually donor cars they had due to such a shite parts supply

at one point in time, they had about 10 cityrovers in there all for stripping lol

But Ross, that CityRover is on a Y plate so I image it was a prototype development hack before bits got plundered

This was in the papers over the weekend. I'll scan it in and post it later. Not that there's any real new information in it, it just seems to make it more "real" or "mainstream" when it's in the paper.
