My cars an Eskimo !

Post by Podman »

First of all sorry for the double post Just wanted to make sure ppl in the know read it

Just managed to snap the clutch arm and the piston came out of the slave. Welded teh arm and carried on to try and bleed the system, only to find out teh slave is knackered cos it got damaged when it blew teh piston out. So basically I gotta find one in a scrappy or summut tomorrow morning (sunday). So what I was wondering is what models of car will do. Just in case they aint got one from a Ti.

Thanks for any advice

Huw

P.s. my car is an Eskimo cos it blew a seal :D lol

Yes m8, 100% true plus if you get a bit of string and tie it around they're neck you can get em too look back around at you as you do em. Velcro cloves and boots, plus shin pads, put they're legs don in the boots and they can't run and the pads protect if they get excited and kick :D

They teach you in secondary school over here see :D

I've welded the arm, that won't snap again ! well not in the same place anyway. Coudln't find a slave today, shame they don't do a seal kit for it, it just cut the seal in teher. Will look to buy a new one tomorrow. shame there aint a different model car (I.e. ford or summut) taht it fits from. be a lot easier to get quick. I can see me making a visit up to grants place tomorrow night to nick one from him. :D

thats a first for Over

Summut useful. I'll order a seal kit too and repair the old one. Buy a new unit at the same time and keep a spare :D in case it goes again. Gotta look into uprating the system, stronger arm and bigger master servo. Clutch aint silly heavy mind you, not considering how strong the plate and stuff is. I don't notice it at all till I get into another car and try to put the pedal through the floor. Lol.

Also wanna look into a bigger brake servo, cos I'm lazy and I'm trying to make it as nice a road drive as I can. So stronger assistance with the brake and clutch would make it easier to drive.
