It's out of my mate's 620Ti

Impressive, but i can go one better.
Worst one I had was when the disc disintegrated completely, wedged itself against the flywheel, and basically acted as a solid connection between engine and gearbox.
Wouldn't have been so bad, but I was driving to get a new clutch fitted at the time, just had to move it about half a mile, was slipping like a bugger so at the time the clutch went from barely any drive at all to exploding, the engine was at about 5500 rpm!
Resulting jolt rocked the engine so hard on it's mounts, it snapped the downpipe clean in two.

Doesn't look too bad. A bit of liquid metal should sort it.

Stella now gone, Ruby is my baby now.

Ahh, i was wondering where you'd posted the pics of my clutch up Tommo.
Actually the damage isn'y too bad. Bit of scoring on the inside of the gearbox where a random piece of metal was flailing round but nothing terminal. Gonna get a new box as it was whining anyway.
The Clutch must have already been trollied and hanging on for dear life imo.
i had just filled the tank to do a busy weekend's driving, Sheffield > Leeds > Ipswich > Plymouth > Ipswich and back to sheffield again. Got no more than 200 Yards from the petrol station, Got to a roundabout and it wouldn't go in gear. eventually got it in, pulled away reasonable gently as it was in heavy traffic being 2pm in the centre of sheffield on a friday, next thing i know there's a clattering sound and i'd lost all drive.
And no i hadn't been ragging the arse off it. i'd been taking it gently to make shure the box lasted till i got it sorted. I'd probably get away with leaving the box however now it's all appart i may as well sort that as well.
Edit to say, Burnouts aren't my thing really. Especially seing as i've just put £320 worth of new tyres on it.
