hedge end got busted

all,

any one up at hedge end in southampton last night sun 29 as the weekly event that goes up there was broken up by the law. The police completely shut down the 4 roundabouts outside mcdonalds and marks and spencer and every car got checked ( approx 150) even mine . The riot police were there in force with there flack jackets , loads of beat cops, I saw 5 unmarked cars and there must have been a good 20 police cars,3 ploice bikes, 4 meat wagons, 1 spotter plane which was going round for a good hour before they arrived. Vosa was there as well doing there checks so i wonder how many got raped for dodgy cars.

guess to say they advised every one that any one caught up there again will be prosecuted, section 59ed and so on so i guess its time for a new venue for all us rover lads down south.

needless to say the cruise will go on evry sunday but else were i guess.

Biggest problem is all the street racing that goes on down there, and how many accidents there have been from youngsters that got a faster car and cant handle it!!

I used to go there alot in my other cars, swift and mk3 CRX, but I dont go there anymore as there was alot of a clicky atmosphere at times, and other people who drove like complete loons and it felt unsafe for my cars, there was one time someone was uninsured and mounted my mates car and f**ked off! Of course he wasnt amused!

Im sure there will be another place people can go, but then the idiots will follow and it will get closed down again!

As for the sec 59, they have been trying to do that for years, we got threatened with all that down Fareham, but nothing came of it!
