Alrite, i was wondering if any one knows where about i can find and buy a 1.8t from the rover 75 i think it is?
I have been considering changing my 1.6 to a 1.8vvc but the 1.8t sounds like a bit more fun and a bit diffrent so im looking into both opitions now.
Any adivce would b great

they pop up on ebay every now and again,
well intercooled and boost controlled will see 170 bhp and similar torque from the engine
- harder than the vvc to do the conversion as said before - as emerald or DTA might need to get involved - but it would be different, and fun, and most importantly - tiiiiiissssssssshhhhhhhhh

Thanx for the advice, at the moment im trying to find a garage around my area that will do the work for me as i do not have room here to have a project that will take that long. i would love to try it my self with a mate who knows what he is doing when it comes to swaping engines etc... but just dont have the room!
i think the vvc conversion sounds like the one for me.

So u think im better of getting a better base car then building up on it? That does make sence, if i were to do that i would prob try and find a good condition 2.0 turbo coupe, the only reason i was goin to try and swap engines in my 1.6 was to do sumthing diffrent and have a wee project for this year. but now after thinking about it i think selling and buying a better equiped car would be better in the long run.
Thanx for the advice guys, prob saved me alot of cash and tears haha.
