There is an article in today's Daily Mail car section, saying that the MG owner's club in Swavesey, Cambridgeshire is opening a franchise called MG-Alliance to sell the new MG from Nanjing Automotive. It say's that the car will be produced in China and at Longbridge.

Maybe there will be lots of other MG-Alliance franchises throughout the country stocking the new MG's to British buyers? Whether British people will purchase the available cars remains to be seen, due to the unfavourable public perception of Rover/MG brand.

If anyone can provide more facts about this it would be great.

Cant provide more details as frankly i dont know them but i can confirm that the Mg owners clubs own repair and mainternance centre (known as MG-alliance) was indeed confirmed on tuesday as a Franchised dealer for the new NAC MGs. As i am lead to believe the majority of their sales will be on an online basis (like the car supermarkets already do) with a small showroom at their present workshop site.
