Audi B6 S4 Avant
Rover 221 coupe turbo 255.5bhp & 256.1lbs/ft (in the garage)
Rover 214 Mk3 Turbo Conversion (in bits)
Rover 416 GSi (in the garden)
The throttlebody is the same and so is the cable i think. Its just that the flappers "arm" is shaped so it cant open fully and then restricted with a block so it just wont open. Just change the throttlebody to unrestricted ones TB or a 52mm one and it should be derestricted.
Happy owner of a MG ZR 160.

Thats what i thought but i've since been told by a few people that you need to change the cable aswell as its shorter or longer one of the two, so it doesn't open so far.

well it should be pretty obvious wether its an 8v or 16v.
then it should say on the logbook if its 1.1 or 1.4,
i think these two engines, the 1.1 16v and the 1.4 restricted 16v have very similar power outputs, so its hard to understand why rover would bother using the 2 different powerplants.
if all else fails, have a look at the engine number, should begin either k11 or k14 respectively.
as for releasing the power, is the ECU not different also?

And there were 1.4 8v in the mk3 200. Dunno if that engine featured in the 25 though.
