wanna tune up mg zr 160

hi one of my mates has just got his bird a mg zr 160 and want to know wot you can do to them when it come to tunning them up i.e decat remap etc all help or info would be great

forget the decat as there is no gain, and a remap doesn't do much really.

What sort of budget are you looking at?

you can't remap MG-R's on stadard ecu can you? You need to upgrade to Emerald or DTA is the other one?

BMC CDA induction kit would be a start, Not cheap but most people say they give best results.

take the exhaust cam out, send it to Piper for a regrind,
then port and polished and matched head,
throttle bodies,
the list is endless, its just about budget.

google this : dave andrews k-series

all you need to know.


Oh and the mems 3 ecu CAN be remapped

Nope mems 3 can be remapped. pocketbikeuk can do it.
