Not just an Audi Quattro though!!

It was a replica Sport Quattro :twisted:

. Other interesting cars in the top half dozen were a twin-engined VR6 Golf, a twin-engined Mini, a 7 litre Vauxhall Victor :shock:

, a RWD V8 Audi Quattro

, and a 9 litre Corvette Stingray.

The last three were pretty much out and out drag racers using no more than the remains of the donor car's bodyshell at the most, that somehow had an MoT and tax to qualify.

Amused that the Victor (already detuned by 100bhp) had to have the NOx disconected to maintain traction... :shock:

Agree it was a poorly produced programme and was pretty dull viewing to be honest.

Winning time was 3.07secs to 60...down a private road (with camber and bumps and a dip at the end...little more than a straight country lane...)

I'm sure there's a VW tuning company that has a Golf demo car with two engines (and what about those eco cars from Toyota with a electric and petrol engine)...

That's the one...!! Might have even been the same car as the blue paint looks that same.

Sounded amazing on the telly..! Dubsport's car is pretty nippy isn't it..?
