Myself and wife are insured via Budget on our 800 Vitesse. It is a group 15 car, I am 31, wife is 35, we pay £360 TPFT, fully comp was £420ish. Our area is not great and we have only 2 years NCB........ (I really have 10, but lack of car for years meant it lapsed:()
3 years ago we paid £480TPFT on an F reg F**d XR2.........

Andy, that is f##king ridiculous. My group 20 supercar was over a grand cheaper than that and I had 11 points declared on my license. The term they saw you coming springs to mind.
I was paying £500 on the vit turbo, now I'm driving the acclaim it is less than half that.

No, one company gave me an extra year for my pass plus, then when i transferred to a different company, they kept the extra year on there
I'm not gonna argue with them about it, lol

Is it worth shelling out all that cash just for insurance.?
Oh I'm paying 574 Fully Comp on the 420 with Norwich Union Direct, thats including the extra they charge just for the privilidge of paying monthly...

What's the best companies to go for if
a)You have a pass plus but no no-claims
b)You want to pay monthly (ie which charge the lowest interest)
I'm getting the first car my own name in July, and have no no claims, it's group 15 and I'll be 21. The lowest I've been quoted so far was elephant @ £1600 FC + interest charges

I cant understand why everyones is so expensive (not the under 25's. They always get stung)
£3500 for insurance !!!!!! I couldn't even afford that. (poor family man - 1 income , motgage and 2 kids, cat etc

)
Look on the bright side when your're 33 like me at least you know the insurance will drop to £300 ish, plus the the car will be so old you'll probably get a classic policy
When I got my quote I also got a quote for a Turbo coupe as well. That was £260 TPFT or £330 fully comp.
I do have 15yrs no claims and no convictions any more, which probably helps.
You should all try Elephant, they're good for me

£250 FC on the 620, just changed to the 420, £10 charge for admin!
32 9yrs NCB and 1 sp10 (3 points). Thats with peoples choice
3.5k on insurance!

ARE YOU MAD?????!!!!!
That's just plain rediculous!

3.5k is about right for an 18 year old on a turbo, mine was nearly 3k on the nasp when i was 19
Im starting to feel that 2k is too much, im just hoping it goes down a fair bit next year, if not ill be selling up for a cheaper car... unless i get a nice promotion and can afford the extortion.
