I can vouch for this car no end as i rebuilt and fitted the head myself, the head is in very good condition with lots of skimming life in it, as is the engine itself :)

I lapped all the valves in and changed all the stem seals.

It has a full klinger head set fitted with new bolts along with a gates timing belt, i flushed the cooling system and refilled with anti freeze etc and gave it a service with new oil, oil filter and plugs.

This is one truly mint car with minimal dinks and marks to bodywork and it drives great.

If i had the cash i'd definately be buying it for me

oh and the engine bay looks a lot cleaner and neater since the head was done, these are old pics so dont show it now :D

Air Con was removed by a previous owner, he had big plans for it but never happened.

Left the switch in as i didnt want a hole in the dash.

Thanks Gaz :)

All PM's replied too.

Any questions, feel free to ask. on here or via PM.

Once its MOT'd it will be going on ebay and auto trader too. Thought i put it up here first though.

I hardly ever ever post in for sale thread but that could be the best £2000 a Rover lover ever spends, good luck with the sale.

Right.... Im letting this go as it is....

Could do with new front pads and probably discs due to it not being used for a while and the rear fog light switch connected up. The wires are all there they have just been chopped.

If you want it, you can have it for £1600 NO OFFERS!

I'm sure you'll get what you want once you've put a twelve month ticket on her - unsure who'd pay the money without :o

Current MOT runs out end of this month (25th to be exact), if i get the MOT done before any sale i will want what it is really worth around the £2000 mark.

I simply do not have the time to even spend 5 mins on it. Therefore i dropped the price even though it is a simple bit of DIY to get it ship shape for the MOT.

OK, think people are getting confused.

To clarify:

Car at present has no MOT (as of the 25th Feb)

Things needed for MOT are:

Rear Fog switch wiring in
Maybe new front discs & pads

It also has a few scratches in the laquer on the roof (not needed for MOT)

I want £1600 for it like this (NO OFFERS)

--------------------------------

If i get the front brakes done, rear fog switch done, full MOT put on and the scratches sorted i want:

Offers OVER £2k.

Hope that clears it up.

Good luck with it - I know a ticket only means it was ok on the day it was tested, but I had an interesting comment by the mot inspector when I took my car in for a re-test after it failed on emissions - told him I'd had a repair rather than a 300 quid new part and he said they (inspectors) have to be satisfied the repair will last at least 3 months before they'd pass it!! I'm unsure who'd pay out that sort of money for a motor with no mot?

People just want something for nothing though, everyone tells me ill easily get £2k with mot etc, and £400 off i thought was reasonable, anyway if i get time to get it done i will.
